Our Stud is located 2 hours north of Newcastle in picturesque Scone, “the horse capital of Australia”. Nestled among some of the most impressive thoroughbred studs in Australia it is the perfect nursery for breeding strong and healthy foals.

At Hunterview we are committed to breeding horses of the highest quality for the Australian & international market. Each year we spend many hours researching temperament, movement, breeding and conformation before deciding which of the best stallions in the world to use on our small but select broodmare base.

The foundation of our breeding success is our mares, all are by frozen semen and some are second generation frozen semen. The matriarch of our stud is a Wenzel mare named PIA. She is the Dam of the sensational Dressage horse JAZZ SONG  by Jazz, as well as full sister JATO  and outstanding young horse  HUNTERVIEW ROCKSTAR by Rotspon. Now after 15 years of breeding, we have an exciting collection of horses making an impact in the competition arena.

Each year we offer a very small selection of young horses and foals for sale.

Whilst our horses have to date gone to the most wonderful competition homes and are winning at major competitions, we look forward to seeing more of our youngsters out and competing successfully throughout Australia.
